Activities:

  • Plantation
  • Capacity building offarmers' through awareness Campaign for conservation of plant and forest
  • Create green belt and green House Nursery
  • Monitoring of different plantation schemes
  • Provided technical support to the farmers for plantation and their survival.

Achievement:

  • Generated applications for more than 40 lakh plantations from farmers' in Tirhut Forest Division, Bihar
  • Established more than 200 nurseries
  • Raise the survival of plant up 94 percent through regular monitoring support in 33 block of Tirhut Forest Division, Bihar

Chemical Analysis of Soil Samplesunder NSHM

  • Soil sample collection from identified intersections of 600m x 600m
  • Photographs of the vegetation of identified location
  • Dispatch soil samples to Soil testing Lab
  • Chemicalanalysis of soil specially Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulphur, Zinc, Boron, Copper, Mg, Mo, pH status, Electrical Conductivity & Organic Carbon

Drive Cleaning by the Chairman, BSPCB

Activities:

  • To develop the concept and approach for environment and biodiversity among the children.
  • To provide a base for sustained activities in newly formed or existing eco clubs by creating green belts in identified areas.
  • To train children in observation, identification, documentation of biodiversity around them and creation of a repository of local biodiversity in each eco club.
  • To plant saplings and nurture them for at least one year.
  • To enhance children's physical development through participation in NCC and NSS
  • To expand their intellectual development
  • To manage children's behavior and ecosystem in order to live sustainably.

Achievement:

  • Awareness on environment protection, biodiversity conservation and ecological systems among 5000 students of 25 schools in Patna district of Bihar
  • Created 25 green belt zones in all 25 selected schools.
  • Increase in knowledge of students and teaches rearguing environmental threat and their solutions.
  • Involvement of students and teachers in activities such as plantation, cleaning and protection of plant.
